Woodlands Regional Centre

A Nexus of New Possibilities

The mix of uses in Singapore’s north presents a range of new possibilities, including the Northern Agri-Tech and Food Corridor, which will connect the future Agri-Food Innovation Park with elements of the ecosystem in the North, including farms, Republic Polytechnic (which has launched a relevant diploma programme), as well as business spaces in Woodlands Regional Centre.

Senoko Food Zone
The JTC Food Hub @ Senoko Food Zone will cluster SMEs from the food sector in a seven-storey hub. This will support innovation in Singapore’s food industry and provide local job opportunities.

High-Tech Farming @ Lim Chu Kang
Modern high technology farms are growing large volumes of produce all year round with significantly less resources. For example, Sky Greens has developed a 9-metre tall vertical growth system that is used in Lim Chu Kang.

Nucleus of Opportunities

New Business Spaces for All

Woodlands Regional Centre will benefit from a diverse palette of office, retail, business park and industrial spaces planned across the two precincts, Woodlands North Coast (WNC) and Woodlands Central. Along with its proximity to established industrial estates in Woodlands, Senoko and Sungei Kadut,  this will position it as the key commercial centre supporting the Northern Gateway and Agri-tech and Food Corridor, bringing a broad range of good jobs closer to residents of the North.

Flexible industrial spaces will encourage the co-location of knowledge-intensive and service-oriented activities alongside manufacturing operations.

WOODLANDS CENTRAL

Thriving Commercial & Community Node

At the junction of the North-South and Thomson-East Coast Lines (the latter opening from 2019 onwards), Woodlands Central will be a regional business hub, with office and retail developments conveniently close to new homes. New public plazas and cycling paths will make Woodlands Central a bustling destination for residents of the North.
